Tammy Louise Stair, 45, of York entered into God’s eternal care at her home as a result of a pulmonary embolism Sunday, March 23, 2008. Born October 17, 1962 in Hanover, she was a daughter of Dale E. and Charlotte L. (Myers) Stair of Hanover.
Tammy was a 1980 graduate of South Western High School and attended a travel school in Florida. She was Vice-President for the North American Region of Sephora USA, a cosmetic and fragrance retail company based in San Francisco, CA.
Surviving in addition to her parents is a sister, Beth A. Stair-Lonczynski and her husband Joseph of Hanover; a brother, Steven D. Stair and his wife Holly of McSherrystown; a nephew, Logan Lonczynski, Hanover and a niece and nephew, Stephannie and Austin Stair of McSherrystown.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tammy will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Rd., Hanover with Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. There will be no public viewing. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the service Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
